Title: Basic Question on banana connectors
Post by: John Skukalek on November 03, 2024, 09:38:20 AM
I am learning that there are multiple sizes of these connectors. I purchased a 2820 950kv motor and a 40 amp esc from Brodak. The connectors on the motor are a different size than the connectors on the esc. I guess i need to purchase a supply of these connectors to have on hand.
What sizes should i stock up on?

Thanks

John

The motors I've bought all had the female connectors in the box with the motor. If you want to switch motor from plane to plane then you might need to standardize the connections. Maybe just get whatever size came on your biggest motor.

Here is where I get mine.   Go with the size for the Motor wires.

Careful when you solder that you don't tin the wire too far. Banana's are long and you can't bend the wire if it has solder in it.  I try and figure out where the straight part is going to be between the ESC and motor. and put them there.
