Bashed Sakitumi kit

Decided to bash my Sakitumi profile kit.  Didn’t want all that electronic gear  hanging out in the open.
So, building a simple box fuselage using the profile wood fuselage as a guide.

This is how the concept looks so far.

Will be doing a lot of sanding and shaping.
Thinking of using a transparent red or purple
Ultra Cote lite film on the wings, and white
Paint on the fuselage.
Purpose of the airplane is to try out various
Settings on Igor’s timer, and experiment with different props ,
And line lengths. Another reason I’m building it is to let the local guys
Fly it to experience electric flight.  Should be fun.

Very nice. Should be better than a profile.
Hey I need to put you in touch with Jim Borelli from New York.
He has a great E Model ready to fly. Hunt Genesis Extreme. Mid 50 oz.
How is the E Shark.?
Your model is a good flyer. I have seen several fly including the designers plane.

Nice to hear from you Jose. Heard you were flying in Wrentham, MA.  Go figure, I move to Florida, and you show up in Wrentham.  LOL. My Shark is flying very well. Igor’s timer works beautifully.  The Sakitumi will be my kick around ride to do some experimenting with. Don’t dare touch the Shark, it flies so precise.

Finished all opening magnetic hatches, top hatch for battery, 2 small bottom hatches to get at connections I case I have to.  Now, lots of sanding and shaping. Decided on radial cowl for easy cooling. Some air can escape out the rear of the fuse.

progress made...Don't know whether to put a bold stripe down the fuselage, and if I do,

what color would be best...white, red, or maroon ?  What do you think ?

Color is distorted a little, the fuselage is actually medium to light grey.
Florescent light distorts it
