Title: AXI 2826/13 GOLD LINE V2
Post by: Norvaldo on July 02, 2017, 07:55:16 PM
Hello.
AS i am fairly new to EL-Setup.
1. Is the AXI 2826/13 GOLD LINE V2 the same motor that  Igor uses.
2. Is this one ok to run on a 6S 2700 MaH.

The 2826-13 F2B  from Igor is different,  as it has slightly lower Kv and Internal resistance.

I don't think so. 2826-13 F2B from Igor and AXI 2826/13 GOLD LINE V2 is exactly the same motor. But ofcourse only Igor can say that for sure.
And yes, I fly one with 6S 2700mah and 12x5 3 blade wood prop from HK. Model weight is 66 oz.

No, they are not..  the ones available elsewhere has 710Kv and slightly higher IR.

No, they are not the same, the point why I wanted to make F2B motor are standard/constant electric parameters and bearing which will survive c/l stunt flight (corners). We found over time that /13 had differnt parameters during conversion from old to new motor (there were even small differences in core diameter), what is not good for us. I think they needed to push prices down and that is reason for variations. I note that price went down from V1 to V2 and it has now ventilator and also includs rear mount parts which were exra parts on V1.  So it is signifficantly cheaper now, but it had to have some background  VD~ .

The bearing problem is not only high precession but also fact that unlike R/C we fly at almost constant RPM what can be problem if it hits resonance rpm. So simply F2B version has best bb available.

That all means that you "can" have electrically the same /F2b and /13 motor, but it can be also different :- ))) ... slightly, however all /F2b are the same and with better bearing.

OK.
Thanks for the clarification.

Will the F2B fly with a 5 cell 2700??? ???

Yes, 6 cells give more head room for power boost necessary wit active timer, so 5cells will work well better wil constant RPM. All depends on prop pitch, usual 5" pitch rops will work better with axi 2826/12 instead of axi 2826/13 or axi 2826/F2B
