That is a nice setup.
I have two of the Max tyoe arming plug units which I had originally planned to us in the Nobler, but due to the length of the piece that mounts to the fuse, I wouldn't be able to get my battery in. Otherwise it is a really nice and smooth plug-in unit---easier to insert and remove the plug than a Deans setup.

Hi Larry,

Excellent safety plug, I'm glad you installed it. This also makes it much more convenient to get set up for an official flight at a contest. I like your KIS plug lanyard, smart idea. I think more ECL flyer's will start using this safety device as they find out how easy it is to install. It is a "Maxx Product", $9.95, available from "Mpi" at:

If other pilots find that this is too large for their plane, they can make their own. It is KIS, inexpensive, light, and small. I like the fact that it uses the common and "LHS" available Deans Ultra plugs. I use the larger Maxx unit on my larger dark arts E planes, but I use this smaller unit on my ECL planes. Here are a few photos to show how easy it is to make:
