What are you using for a arming/ disarm switch?
And where did you get it?

Thanks!

This is my favorite. They sell out regularly so I bought about five a couple years back.

Seach on "XT60 panel mount", if you use XT60 connectors.

The problem with electric is that once you get the smoke generator and sound system installed, the plane is too heavy.

Howdy!  Just wanted to say that thanks to a heads up from Mr. Adamisin, a while back, I've been using the MAXX Products High Current Arming Switch (p/n 6970) with great satisfaction.

I use these:

https://www.amazon.com/Connector-XT60E-M-Mountable-Multicopter-Aircraft/dp/B09G6212GR/ref=sr_1_2?keywords=xt60+panel+mount&qid=1661649761&sr=8-2.

Need to have mate with two pins shorted.  Also I attach the plug with a string so it doesn't get lost.

I just cut a hole in 1/8" five ply birch, rough it up and epoxy the deans plug right in there. Then you have a wooden flange to do with as you please.

Hi Paul!  As I remember, I ordered mine directly from the mfg.  However, I noticed that they are available from a number of sources:

1.  https://brodak.com/arming-switch-12-awg-wire.html
2.  www.gravesrc.com/maxx-hi-current-arming-switch.html
3.  www.hamiltonhobbies.com/products/maxx-products-no-spark-arming-switch-with-ultra-dean-plugs-awg12-wires-6992

I think you will be pleased with this product.  Best wishes!!

Thanks John. Good info.
I notice you have a on/off switch and a kill plug. Do you need the plug if you have a off switch?

The ON/OFF switch is connected to my KR timer.  The KR takes a switch not a push button to start it.  The kill plug is in the red lead of the battery and when unplugged disconnects the battery.  If your ship is a profile you may not need an arming plug.  Quit often, on a profile, the battery leads are exposed and you can unplug the battery easily.   Full body aircraft has the battery buried inside so you need the arming plug for safity.

Mine has both.  I use the Jetti ESC (Spin66) which has a switch.  However, the switch does not directly break the main power lead, so it does not qualify under the rules.  Hence the plug.
