So, I see that Hobby King sells these, but they have been on back order forever and are only sold from the Global Warehouse.
Does anyone else sell these (or similar)
-
Sparky had some. Here's another source: http://www.spotonrc.com/goods.php?id=193 . I have them in my airplanes, both for the arming plug and a bulkhead battery connector. An ex-Boeing guy in Redmond was selling them (Aztech was his company name). He died. His Web site lives on, but reports being sold out of these connectors. The SponOn parts had a chamfered edge that I thought looked nicer than Hobby King's, but I prefer Hobby King's setscrew location.

Thanks, Howard. The Spot On stuff looks good.
Where were you on Sunday?
-
How about this thing from Tower (http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXCRME&P=M)?
You could probably search "Arming Plug" just about anywhere and find something.
-
Tim, not really what I was looking for - other than the cool arming plug. I have a couple of those.
-
What do you want then, in words -- plugs, housings, screws, what?
-
Basically, what I posted above. And I found them. So I'm good.
-
Yes, but I want to understand the cool use to which you're putting it, so that when I switch to electric I can shamelessly copy.
-
Tim,
Two uses. Once is that this is a slick unit and I can use one of the Schumacher plugs for an arming plug and have less footprint on the external portions of the fuse. The other is that I can mount one internally to plug the battery into (connected to the ESC, possibly through a bulkhead), somewhat reducing the wiring running around the compartment.
