I've had a lot of them in RC. I really like them, but have heard bad things about the BEC. However!, in its defence the people complaining about the bec have had them in planes powering like 7 digital servos. I would think that's an over load.

I got an extra one if you want to test it. It's new, i pulled it out of a carbon z cub to install a castle talon 90. I fly the cub 3d, needed a little more grunt... Lol

I see no reference to an on board govenor circuit? if you are using the Hubin Timer you probably want an ESC with a govenor,,

mind you I only spent a brief time reviewing the specs,, so I may have missed it

Yeah, I saw no reference to a governor.  If it does have heli programming, can you still set the brake?  It's heavy to 2.65 oz!  I'd stick with a Castle unit.  We know what programming they have.

It's programmable for voltage cut off, brake and soft start. Also frequency and throttle range. But no governor.

It would probably work with a Keith renewal timer but it's fairly pricey.  A 60A Hobbywing ESC is half the price.

Someone gave me one so I was just wondering if it's workable. I have a couple of Phoenix Edge Lite 75s and will keep with those, but I was wondering if it could be used. Guess not.
