Another question for Christ Rigotti
« on: January 13, 2018, 02:17:25 PM »
Hi Christ,
On your Thunderbolt profile it appears that you are using 4-40 bolts placed thru the front motor mount and into the Cobra motor. What are the bolts screwed into? It appears that the bolts are going directly into the motor.  Is this correct or am I missing something?

Thanks

Peter Mick

I don't know what the screws are but they aren't 4 - 40. They will be metric if they go into the motor.

Pete,
Yes they go into the motor.  They are 3mm screws.  Don't get too long of screws because they'll hit the windings and ruin the motor.  I think I used 3 x 8MM screws.
