Cobra motor questing on mounting. How will you do it?
« on: December 22, 2013, 05:01:18 PM »
I ordered on of the 40 size motors. It shipped the same day that I ordered it. Great service!

Anyway I get unlike 2 days, open the box to check things out. It has a mount for one side and came with a prop shaft to bolt up on the back. So are people using the shaft on the motor or the bolt on shaft?

I hope I explained that right?

You can front mount it and use a standard collet. You can rear mount it using the x-mount and the screw on collet. You can take it apart, loosen the shaft, press it through and then rear mount it using a standard collet. Simply put, they can be mounted any way you need to mount them. I hope I explained this right. If not, feel free to give me a call.
