This article is from today's (8/4/09) Wall Street Journal. A123 is apparently one of the big winners for battery development funding for electric cars. Stimulus funding of $1.2B to be made available to the field.

This should benefit our tiny niche market, especially in the long run, and overall, a good place to spend some of that money, IMO.
