Gee, that looks vaguely familiar!
Good to see, Sparky!
Please keep us up on the progress.

Title: Sanding
Post by: RC Storick on February 09, 2013, 12:10:49 AM
I have at least another week of sanding to go before I can shoot any color but here's a shot of where I am now. I think I am going ot use base coat clear coat on this model. If I do this the paint job will be around 100.00. Thats really cheap.

Until one tries to do a fine finish you forget the incredible amount of work it takes. I have been sanding for hours and I am not half way yet. it one thing on a car or bike where you don't care what it weighs. But on a a CLPA model put it on sand it off. So that the final finish there is only 2 OZ of color. A lot of hard work goes into a light finish.

Robert,

Shaping up and looking good.

Is that the aerosol can, NAPA primer you are using, which you suggested and recommended in another Thread?
