Well the past Saturday was the 4th round of the New Zealand stunt series in Whangarei and I finally had my electric Legacy up and ready to go.
After a 4 hour drive, and unveiling the legacy to the "crowd" most fliers were intigued as to how it would go and I think I had the biggest audience for any one flight!!!
So the FIRST was - the very first competition flight by and electric control line model in New Zealand
the SIXTH was - were I placed - which is not too bad given I have not flown in over 2 years and I had to drop one flight due to a line hookup after takeoff.

Congrats! H^^ Now with the butterflies gone you can get down to some real serious practice (what electric really lends itself to) and be in a position to dominate. You'll really enjoy windy contests more than anyone else!

Hi Wynn,
Good stuff, did you get any photos?
Just curious, What is the control line scene like in NZ? ie many fliers? Is there a website or somwehere I can see some of the action from the "NZ Stunt Supreme"?
Cheers

Hi Warren,
No pictures that I took - I know a few other guys took loads - but hey dont go on the forums.
This contest was the biggest I have been to as far as people actually flying - that was with 24 ...yeah not too many really..
A few of the guys that I used to fly with are not flying currently - I know of about 50 people that actually fly control line over here - there may be more.
The nationals have a lot more - but I have not attended one yet due to work and family
Nothing I know if show the Stunt Supreme Contest - but there will be another one at the end of the year.
We do have a NZ control line forum - but it is quite innactive a lot of the time.......
