Hello,
I am looking for four 9x5x3 counter rotating (pusher) GWS propellers.
http://www.gwsprops.com displays them but they are out of stock.
By the way: the site was not updated and the person (persons?) running this business are poor communicators what, in the era of web purchases, makes a very bad impression.
9x5x3 counter rotating (pusher) GWS propellers come in grey and black color. I prefer black but if grey is the only choice I am ok with that.
Thank you,
Matt

Looks like they are out of business.

There is a bunch of ebay hits - for example:

Probably shipped from China.

Master Airscrews makes a 9x7pusher, which could easily be repitched to a 5" if you have a pitch gauge.

Hello,
I have just tested 9x5x3 GWS props and they will power my future electric indoor MiniWolf.
Yes, they are more flexible than equivalent APC 10x4.7 slow flyer prop ( please see the attached test report to understand why I called this prop. "equivalent") but stiff enough to survive more than 6,200 static RPM. The blades of 9x5x3 GWS propeller will most likely bend out of the plane of the propellers rotation when really sharp corner is executed. I will film this behavior caused by the gyroscopic moment using the on-board micro camera and assess it. If such bending affects adversely the corners execution, I will replace the props. with APC 10x4.7 or with the equivalent carbon composite slow three blade if I find them.
I have purchased 9x5x3 CR GWS props from some guy in China via ebay (thanks, Mike) and will build MiniWolf this Summer.
Like I wrote before, the plane will have a build-up Depron/balsa 18-22% wing and Depron fuselage, motor cowls, empennage and other structural parts.
The estimated RTF weight with two EMAX2812 motors, two 2S 800 mAh batteries (or one 2S 1500/1600 mAh battery), two SimonK 12 Amps ESC and two KR governors is around 17 oz. Line length: 17-17.5 ft.
I am using 7 Watts/oz. by analogy to my Wasp and MP Bee1 that fly the entire indoor pattern very well.
Thank you all for your thoughts and suggestions,
Best Regards,
M
