You can run one of these   http://leaderhobby.com/product.asp?ID=9394001224278  or these http://leaderhobby.com/product.asp?ID=9394001110008  on your flight streak. I am running a similar motor on my  son  Kevins Streak Use a 9x6 APC pusher prop and some 4s 2200 mah from hobbypartz.com. Their skylipo's or gens ace brands will work just fine. . I doubt you will spend $90 for the motor and 3 batteries combined. If you prefer to order everything from one place to get the FREE hobbypartz shipping then get this motor  http://www.hobbypartz.com/86mb91-3015-910kv.html  3 of these http://www.hobbypartz.com/77p-sl2200-4s1p-20c-4444.html and that motor will cost you about $80 shipped and even less if you can get a coupon. The exceed motors are an excellent value for the money up to the 3020 sizes.

Well, it will work but you will pay a weight price. It is always best to match the motor and battery size to the model you are setting up.

I have used many cheap motors and have never had a problem. I always apply a drop of light oil to the bearings of any motor before I run it. In any case, for many motors the bearings can be replaced and surprisingly bearings are not that expensive.

A $90 motor for a FliteStreak, to me, is overkill.  ;D

Well Eric certainly knows his stuff and I do recommend his systems and Brodaks to people who just want to put the system in their plane and fly. The motors and batteries I recommended were only intended as an alternative. Both the EMP moptors by leaders hobby and the Exceed  motors have been used extensively by NYC area flyer's for hundreds of flights without problems and by a few Nats flyer's. I have all the spec sheets from every E pilot at the Nats as I am in the process of writing up the E column for the Nats issue of Stunt News. I know what everyone used.
Any motor in any price range can fail, seize a bearing, or break a shaft. I've had that happen to me too with "random" motors. I can also tell you that I had a $180 Plettenburg throw a shaft last year. Do a search, you will find my posting. If you want a motor from a Nonrandom reputable US site then get yourself a COBRA Motor from RCDude.com. If you run a 4 cell setup in your Streak get this one http://www.rcdude.com/servlet/the-2055/Cobra-C-dsh-2814-fdsh-20-Brushless-Motor/Detail if you run a 3 cell system then get this one http://www.rcdude.com/servlet/the-2052/Cobra-C-dsh-2814-fdsh-12-Brushless-Motor/Detail   Cobra motors have 5mm shafts and the beefiest and biggest bearings of any motor in that size range. I will be using a Cobra in my 2013 Nats plane. By the way Hobbypartz is US based in California and they attend most US trade shows and Leaders hobby, while China based, does do some shipping from US warehouses. I also agree with what John says, you will pay a weight penalty.
