I have been using a BadAss 2320 820Kv on my Ringmaster front mounted. I have been having some issues with the collar slipping on the motor shaft as I tighten the prop. I am not comfortable with this. I have used the front mount motors for years, this is the first one that won't tighten properly. I looked to switch it to a rear mount but the drive shaft they that Inov8tion provides is like 3mm shaft with a very small drive collar that looks like it is for a small prop not a stunt prop.
Anyone know of a 4mm prop drive collar? I have used a Hyperion HP-ADAP-40XL adaptor. It seems to be a couple thou over and doesn't grip the motor shaft well. Is there is away to roughen up the motor shaft to allow it to grip better?

Update: I found a 4mm Aluminum Bullet Prop/propeller Adapter Holder that holds well. It has flats cut into the collar/drive for a wrench. I don't know who makes this one any ideas?

Does it have a small prop shaft, if so the is probably a Great Planes. 1/4-28 shaft could be Spektrum. I think they both make bullet adapters. I have been using the Spektrum ones with few issues. They are difficult to get tightened in a full body with nothing to hold on to.

I like using set screw style adapters on 4mm & 5mm shafts on up to a 3520 motor (so far) they work great and no, they do not vibrate.

I've always solved slipping by putting sandpaper washers (320 sandpaper glued back to back) between each surface (prop/spinner and spinner/drive washer).
