My Thunder Power G8 ProLites are 25C and my Zippy Compacts are 35C.

In C/L we rarely need more than a 20C battery. Only problem is that few of the lipo battery manufactures offer 20C anymore. I know that when I ordered 25C batteries from the manufacturer last time I had to accept 30C batteries.

The main thing to remember is that the higher the "C" rating the more expensive the battery will be. There is simply no need to purchase a 65C battery when we only require 20-25C. Why waste the money?

I think it depends on the manufacturer.  I've had good luck with 25C Gens Ace.  I like the Zippy Compact 35C better than the regular Zippy 20C though.  Have 8 of the Zippy Compacts without any issues over 2 years of use.

25 C is more than adequate for our purposes. They will disappear as newer batteries with higher C ratings make their way to market. So always use the lowest C rating you can get without going below 25C. Higher C rated batteries are in all likelihood heavier than a comparable lower C cell.
