I love the sound of a FS in flight, and the way they seem to pull the plane with no effort without worrying about finding that 4-2-4 break. I'm thinking of my next build project, something that will allow me to move from intermediate to advanced without embarrassing me (I mean the plane, I know I'll embarrass myself.)
I'm wondering if there is any advantage/disadvantage in running an R/C carb vs. the C/L venturi. I see planes flying with R/C carb, and it seems fine; ditto with the venturi.
I'm thinking in the Saito .56-.62 range. Is there much difference between these two??
Thanks,
Brian

Hi Brian,
I see little difference between the 56 and 62, either one will do the job on a Legacy size airplane. Do not use the RC carb, it is a variable air leak. Just drove back from Brodaks and am tired.. Do a little searching for my posts and you will gain allot of good info. If you have any questions just ask, it will probably take me a couple days to recover from being up 24 hours but I'll be back.
PS: A Saito 62 won Advanced PA at Brodaks yesterday.

You are right, the engine/airplane did all the work, I was just along for the ride.

It was the Latency, a forum search for "Latency" will bring up all the details on the airplane.
This link is almost everything I know about running a four stroke..
