Engine basics > Four strokes only
Surpass FS-26
Dave Hull:
Ahhh, the old drill bit technique!
On the one 4S I got a chance to play with a bit, the change in airspeed (power) with seemingly small changes in venturi size was impressive. This was on a big Saito, so it may not be an issue with a smaller engine using more of the available power?
You might bring some small O-rings and pantyhose with you, just in case it is breathing a bit too much. Kind of an anti-drill bit.

It's the small TD venturi (I think a #32 bit?), so I am hoping it would only need opening not reducing. But the P/H is probably something I should bring with me anyway, incase I soil mine.....
Thanks for the reminder.
I hope to have results for this mod before the end of the year, LOL.

Does someone have the P/N for the intake gasket between head and elbow? Is that even available anymore?
Yes, I have looked here-

Thanks!

Now that is definitely something I would never have thought of. Curious to see the results.

Chris,
Did you ever get any time on this TD venturi setup?
