OS .20 4C
« on: November 05, 2017, 07:21:36 PM »
Hi All, Some where on this Forum I saw an individual running an OS .20 on a Ringmaster S-1 and thought that that might be a fun project to try! So I've modified one of my oldest S-1's to accept this engine (Built in 1075)! Now the big question is what Prop is the best one to start with? My engine is NIB and has had no fuel through it ever!

Phil - I used an OS 20 on a Flight Streak and it worked very well.
I also used it on a Sterling Mustang and it was a perfect combo. Brought home quite a few trophies in OTS and even a first in advanced AMA stunt.
The prop that worked best for me was a Top Flite 9-6 wood (wide blade)

Hey Phil,  you are probably talking about mine. And yes, my favorite prop is 9x6 just as Bob is saying. It works very well.

Hi Bob and Dane, Many thanks for your support and information! I am looking forward to fling tis combination in the not too distant future. I too enjoyed the sounds from the 4C engines no matter which brand! I once had an ARF Nobler  with a Saito .40 up front and it flew quite nicely for me. Adequate power with sweet sounds! That engine really liked the APC 10 X 4 prop! Wierd set up but it worked!

Thanks Again!
