Title: St Peter MN
Post by: Mike Spiess on August 03, 2008, 01:43:39 PM
I'm more than willing to help any one interested in controline flying. I'm into stunt and just fun flying. I also am working on getting a flying site in Mankato MN. I just need help in getting good grass and cleaning it up.

So Mike, when you gettin up here to fly "your" .010 on "my" Queen Bee?  The thing runs very well, and the plane flies very well, kinda like flying a mosquito. I'm using, I think 20' lines.  Cut some 27' but as it turns out that's a little ambitious for an .010 (although I think the .020s will pull them just fine).

I just finished putting the QB back together after taking it apart to repair/recover one wing, and de-sensitize the controls (new pushrod hole in the BC closer to pivot). It's ready (again) to go!

Sorry Ray I've been out of touch for a while. Work, end of racing season and family has kept me from flying and the computer lately. Hopefully I'll get some time soon. I;m looking forward to meeting you.
