The only consistent San Diego site I now know of is at Ramona High School.

Mike and Dave are usually out there Saturday mornings around 8 a.m. on the back soccer field.

I'll PM you Dave's email and phone number.

I realize this thread is quite old, but I would be interested to know if there's still any CL fliers around San Diego as I'm considering putting together a 1/2a electric to play with & teach my 10 year old son?  We're both R/C park pilots now flying small electric foamies, so I know a few things about electric power.

Scott there is a small group that flies Friday mornings occasionally just north of the YMCA in Santee - I can check on that if you wish.

I think they are still flying at Ramona High School Saturday or Sunday mornings as well.

Warren,

Thanks for the speedy reply, do you know if any of the folks that fly in Ramona are on stunthanger?  Or do you have any contact information so I could find out confirmed flying days?  We live in Rancho Bernardo, so Ramona isn't too far away from us, so we could go out there sometime and check it out.  Right now I have a 1/2a Sig Skyray still in the box, but I was thinking about building one of these pusher trainers to re-learn myself and teach my son, since I haven't flown CL since I was his age almost 40 years ago now.  Here's the link:

Great, I'll try and touch base with Dave and see when they're out in Ramona.  What about you, do you fly up in Alpine somewhere?  I may not have time to put together a plane until after Christmas, but I do want to get into it.  Thanks again for your help with finding other CL fliers around here.
