Oklahoma City (help needed)
« on: November 06, 2012, 02:25:52 PM »
I really could use some training to hone my skills. Are there any control liners or clubs in the OKC area?

Ron,

I, like you, would really like to have someone to fly with from time to time. I have one other CLPA flyer in town (Wichita Falls, TX), but he is currently too busy with other things to do much with model planes. You might contact Kim Elmore. He lives in Norman and works for the NWS and has been flying CL for years. I think he flies on his own circle. He is also planning to make a few contests in the near future. Also, you might ask De Hill (Tulsa Glue Dobbers) if he knows others in the OKC area. Both are members of this forum.

Good advice.  De Hill is in Tulsa, although he probably knows of good contacts in the OKC area.  De is a very kind and helpful individual.  Contact him at dfhill(at)juno(dot)com.

PAMPA directory shows about 8 people in the state of OK.

A few in Tulsa, Broken Arrow, Norman, Stillwater, and Sapulpa.

As listed above, contact De Hill.  he has a list of the OK City CL fliers.  I know that there are several there.

Bob,

I lived in Wichita Falls from 2005-2009 small world! Anyway I was contacted by De Hill and he has given me a list of local fliers. I am trying to finish my S1 Ringmaster so I have something to fly. I have plenty of 1/2A stuff though.
