I may end up there for a few months, in about a month or so.

Well Ken I am no help up here in Lampasas... I saw your note on another site and looked up Crockett TX... wow that is further out in the sticks than I am... I hope you find some like minded folk to chat or play airplane with you through your reason to be there.

Thanks Fred I just Googled Lampasas. Looks like it might be the sticks also (V/R) but on the other side.
I still don't know if we will end up there or if by the grace of God we stay in this area. Crocket is a known and offered safe and soft landing that has graciously been offered up. A roof is a roof. All my doctors and surgeons are here in Houston so staying local is best. But if we do not have a roof here then we will go to Crocket and just commute for the doctors.
We are starting to pack. And will receive plenty of bodies able to pack us and move our stuff into storage from the church. They have been so kind and generous to us already. I can't ever recall having this much food.
Pretty sure we will be out of our apartment, and completely clueless beyond that.
Building and flying is low on my priority list right now but still I like to be around (if I can) other fliers and don't wont to go stir crazy.

I Sincerely hope it all works out ok for you and your family.
Wish this weather would make up it's mind. I need to get back to test running a few new (to me) combat engines

Well we just this Sunday we will have a place to stay only about 1 mile from where we are are right now. So GOD is blessing us.
