Why tach from the front!

I see guys tach the motor from the front and reach over the prop to adjust the needle.
The RPM will read the same from behind and you don't have to reach around a meat slicer to adjust the needle.
Just saying 😳

With any piston engine you can download the app "enginerpm" to your I pad less expensively than any tach device.  It works from a safe distance, including the center of the circle.
Two stroke or four stroke, any number of cylinders.
For electric buy a real tach and don't try it with fluorescent lights.
