Bill congrats on winning the High Point Award. I could not get your link to open. For reference I always tried to stay in the center of the circle where we belonged. Stub and I still laugh about the races we had and the positioning we would do to get the best possible result for our team, weather it be from Texas or Tennessee. Dick and Harold always had top shelf stuff and were always in the conversation as to who might win. J.C.B. ( John Charles Ballard ) and Gary Fentress were always in the hunt.

Nobody left flying racing, Larry,  except a few old diehards. Stub is still a damned good combat flyer. Ballard was at the NATs briefly helping with the F2C Team Selection. Lambert is on the F2C team again with Tommy Fluker flying. Oge still competes but is big into tether cars too.

Yes, Thursday was the day when several folks had already left and we discovered that we had on pilot and nobody to time and count laps other than Sandra. Plan on resuming the activity in Dallas in October.
