We are 5 weeks away from the 45th Annual 2025 Golden State Stunt Championships (GSSC) held on October 10-12, 2025 at the beautiful Folsom Lake State Recreation Area in Granite Bay, California.

We are also pleased to announce that the Folsom Lake State Recreation Area will host the FAI F2B U.S. Team Trials following the GSSC on Monday, October 13, 2025.

Need a hotel room? Contact the Best Western Roseville Inn (BW) located at 220 Harding Blvd in Roseville. The BW is the featured hotel for this year's GSSC and Team Trials. The BW has given us a special discounted rate. A group of rooms have been blocked out. A single or double-bed room will cost $119.00 (plus tax/fees) per night. Rooms are available for check-in from Thursday, October 9 thru check-out on Tuesday, October 14 or any of the days in between those dates that you need. Call the hotel directly at (916) 782-4434. When making your reservation, state that it's for the "Golden State Stunt Championship" to receive the discount.

Many have asked about the GSSC Banquet Dinner with most signing up for it without knowing the full details. Well, here are the details!

The dinner is a great opportunity to get together for some food and after a hardy day of flying, do some bragging and/or commiserating, otherwise known as whining. We will also be presenting the awards for Old Time Stunt, Classic and Profile Stunt after dinner.

However, due to limited space, only 25 seats are available for the dinner. Seats are on a first-come-first-serve basis. Many have reserved a seat(s) when they pre-registered. For those that didn't, you better hurry, seats are going fast! If you want to attend the dinner and DID NOT do so when you pre-registered, please call, text or email me --- ASAP.

Cost:         $30.00 per person

The $30.00 covers dinner for one person and includes tax and gratuity to enjoy a meal from a well prepared Fajita Bar! Dinner also includes the choice of hot tea, iced tea, coffee, or soda.

NOTE: Alcoholic beverages are NOT included. However, you may purchase alcoholic beverages from Carmelita's full service bar.

Invite your spouse, significant other, roommate, friends and/or enemies, anyone who wants to have some fun.

See Dennis Nunes at the flying field before 8:00 am on Saturday to pay for your registration and dinner. Then, just make sure to be at Carmelita's on Saturday evening at 6:00 pm.

PARKING: Only street parking is available and is very limited. It is recommended to share a ride, carpool, taxi, Uber, or walk. Carmelita's is about 1.5 miles southwest from the Best Western Inn on Harding Blvd where most of us are staying.
