Weather forecast says rain Friday and Friday night and possibly all Day Saturday?

Also, is there supposed to be a raffle on Sunday? If so, I may have some things to contribute.

I don't think a reschedule is possible. 

80% chance of rain on Saturday with possible thunderstorms according to NWS forecast. Does not look good. why can't the contest be resheduled?

AMA says that if you schedule a contest, you have to have it on that date.

Kinda silly ruling by AMA as it would not be hard to do it a week later as a weather allowance which evidently must not be part of what they allow. Could be hard to do for the Nats I could agree.

I'm sure the AMA has good reasons for that and I'm sure it is not silly. 

   In all the years I have been attending contests and such, I don't ever recall having a contest that had a rain date. It would take two separate contest sanctions, and thus two fees. Insurance figures into this, I'm sure. And then there is the possibility of conflicting with another event which would hurt both. It's just not done.

The contest happened Saturday. Weather cleared very nicely. We will try again tomorrow.
