I went to the swap meet and, as usual, met many of the CL flyers from the area. As always, there was a significant amount of CL, FF, plastics, boat and other non-RC stuff for sale. This meet only goes three hours, from 9 AM to noon.
Unlike Toledo, there weren't many dedicated buyers there, mostly sellers who might pick something up if they get the urge.
It's clear that the swing to electrics has brought A LOT of piston engines, engine gizmos, props, and spinners into the resale market.
Also, the deluge of cheap foamies have triggered a wood model & kit selloff.
But the sellers still think they can demand premium prices for stuff they want to dump. Hence, not a lot of sales volume.
