Settings; CC Phoenix Edge 50 w/KR Timer
Anyone got updated settings for Castle Phoenix Edge 50 (or Lite ver.)
Only Program settings I can find is for the Ice 50 Lite and what is shown can not be done with Castle Link

The Follwing can not be programmed with "Vehicle Type: Airplane" Mode is selected as suggested

I have three, a 50, 50 lite and 75 lite. All have a "Control Line" type. I use the Huben timers and "Airplane" type dosn't allow you to set the RPM's and the boost under load is missing.

My experience with the 50 lite was that it ignored the timer RPM and especially the gain in the "airplane" mode. It only used the timer RPM and gain in the "Control Line" type. It also would not let you set many of the parameters to what we use. I may not have all of this correct because I had no way to effectively measure the RPM on my trim flights using "Airplane" type (by mistake) so it may have been only the lack of gain that I observed.
I am rather new at this as well but I am attaching the settings for my standard 50 that I have used since last October. They came from the settings I got from Norm Whittle's Cookbook when I converted. FYI the time from start to full power is set too long. I intend to change that.
These may not be the optimal settings either but they work and any recommendations would be appreciated. Castle link will let you upload these settings and you are welcome to do it. That is how I got my first one to work.
