Jeti Spin 33 pair not arming unison

I am using a pair of Spin 33 ECSs in my new twin.  I am testing the electronics and curious about what I consider strange.  I am using a single battery to power both ECSs using a "Y" harness from the battery.  Both ESC on/off switches are connected to the same DPST slider switch.  When the BEC switch is thrown, both ESCs "arm" but not in unison.  There is about a 1/2 second between #1 and #2.  The timer functions normally and the motors start in unison.  I suspect this is weird and I would like to know if it is normal, and I should not worry about it.

Do not do it, it can (probably not, but still can) cause malfunction of the processor, if they are on different potential.

Thanks for the warning but I thought that a DPST switch keeps the circuits separate but just closes/opens them at the same time.  I am using a 3pST switch to route BEC#2 to either the Jeti Box or ESC#2 with the power wire cut when connected to ESC #2 and active when connected to the Jeti Box.  I am guessing that the difference in the two ESCs is related to the difference in how long it takes to charge the capacitors and send out the "ready to go" beep.  Emphasis on Guessing!

OK clear, but in that case you can have other problems. How is connected timer? It will be good if you post schematic.

Attached is recomended solution for twins.

This is a video that illustrates what is happening.  The more I think about it, the more I suspect that the ESCs do not charge at the same speed.
Jeti recommended that I not bypass the switch.  Both ESCs get arming power at the same time.  The capacitors should charge when the arming plug is inserted.  The switch supposedly arms the system.


 

I would like to know if that delay is normal but Bottom line - it works - Ken
