Look above for Norm's Cookbook.  Lots of good stuff.

I fly the Tanager which is the profile version of what you have. I fly on 63' handle to thrust line and I use a 2500 mah 4cell with an APC 11-5.5 with 9500 rpm dialed into the timer for 5.25 sec per lap and flight time is 5:15.

RPM will vary, full fuse would be less and your plane is a few oz lighter. I'd suggest you get an APC 12-6e and cut it down to 11" diameter. It will have more area at the tips and more pitch for less rpm/save battery power. You can set your flight time to 1:30 and get two flights out of each battery while you try different rpm settings.

I'm not sure a 2200mah is enough to keep the battery happy. If the charger puts back more than 1750 your battery will have a shorter life and you may experience a low voltage cut off. I've gone to the Thunder Power 2800 4s which is the same size and lighter.

Here is my set up:

For the Hubin Fm9 you set to "Phoenix High RPM" for the Ice Lite 50 or, set to "Phoenix New High" for the Edge Lite 50

ESC settings are the same for both Ice and Edge:

Throttle
vehicle type - control line
throttle type - governor mode governor high
Governor gain (custom) 50  (100%)
Initial spool up - Med 5
Head speed change rate - Med 5

Motor/Gearing for (Eflight power 15)
No gearing Direct drive
KV of motor 950
Magnetic poles 12

Brake
brake strength - 100% hard
Brake delay .5s
Brake ramp - very fast

Cut Offs
cut off voltage - Auto Lippo  Volts/cell 3.2
voltage cut off type - soft cut off
current limiting - normal 70 amps
Current cut off type - soft cut off

Motor
Start power - med 59
motor timing - normal 5
direction - forward
pwm rate - 12 khz

Other
power beep - enabled
Bec voltage - 5.0 volts

Any questions, let me know.
Hope that helps,
MM

Thanks for the info MM ,I have an 11x5.5 on its way to try, as Iam only still learning the beginner pattern , only been doing 2 min flights , when  or if I improve I have 2800 batt for it .As for the esc ,its a cc Phoenix edge not lite version , I used Phoenix high rpm mode , hopefully bigger prop brings rpm down.  Cory

Ok now it makes sense. Another inch of pitch will definitely change things. Remember to back down your rpm or you will fry something. Try it in Phoenix New high, works for me.
Will give it a go as soon as prop arrives cheers
