Electric Stunt > ESC Settings
Castle 50 Edge lite and FM9
Paul Taylor:
I am not sure what I did but I noticed I am not getting the cut off (sag) in RPM a lap before the end of the flight.
Is that setting the FM9 or the Castle ESC?
I looked at the basic program for the Castle and it did not jump out at me. I think my timer is set for % of power so not sure if it is a option with that setting???

It is the FM-9. 1 second -0- throttle at end of the flight time followed by 5 seconds full throttle then cutoff. I think it is built in and not a setting anywhere.

Thanks Ken,
Maybe I am just not hearing it. My wife thinks I do need hearing aids. :)

It is hard to hear especially if you're in a manuver. Doesn't bother me because I fly the pattern every time so I know it won't leave me hanging. If you're just going to do random stuff, maybe have a stop watch with you?

Found this on Ebay. Cheap countdown timer that resets automatically. One button to push when you start the timer. Can't miss your wrist beeping!
Strap is another cheap IWatch strap that I screwed to the timer.
