Designing the IMITATION
« on: May 12, 2016, 06:10:03 PM »
Gentlemen,

Trying to determine which issue (year and month) that Model Aviation published Ted Fancher article:

       Designing the IMITATION

This is an good article to determine the Control Effectiveness Ratio and Stability Ratio of Control Line aircraft.

I have the article but not the magazine info concerning the article.
This is one of those articles which needs reading every once in a while.

Thanks for the Helping Hand.

The problem with electric is that once you get the smoke generator and sound system installed, the plane is too heavy.

October 1979.

Just noted that he reference to the October issue was incorrect.  The designing part of the two-parter was in the September issue. This link for some reason takes you to a page listing all the 1979 issues but clicking on the desired one brings up the whole thing and the articles within.
