Title: Wristpin pads for McCoy 40
Post by: Jim Kraft on October 04, 2007, 02:01:54 PM
Does anyone make the teflon end pads for McCoy 40 R/H wristpins? I think these were only used on some of the later ones. I have an earlier one that has brass eyelets.

Scott Riese.  I believe he is out of commission at the present time.  Do you need some?  I have a couple of extras.

I need 1 Marvin. I did a dumb thing and lapped the piston in with the pads in the pin. I use the wristpin in my fixture ( clothespin )  and lapped the end right off that little bugger. The other one is fine. Live and learn.

I have purchased teflon pads alone from MECOA for my K&B 61.  I was just at their website and see that they list a part number for the pads alone pn: 26-4001.  You might give them a try to see if what they have will adapt  WWW.MECOA.COM in parts department, go to the exploded views, or you can call them directly.

Thanks Tom; I had forgotten about MECOA. They might have the ones for the McCoy also, as I believe they have the latest Testors McCoy engines. Thanks again for the reminder.
