After reading Randy's stickies, I find that my old engines are not best-served by all-castor fuel.
I have methanol and castor.
I checked Klotz's website - they list 6 different TechniPlates.
Which do I want for my old iron/steel engines?
Fox .15 & .35
Veco, Enya V and McCoy Stunt .19
O&R .23 FRV
Forster & McCoy Stunt .29
(maybe others to follow - ;D)
Thanks.

Hi Terry
Most people just buy the Techniplate from SIG, the one they use works very well in model engines.
If you have to buy direct from Klotz , I will look at what they offer for you, or you could just ask which one SIG buys.
There are more options if you do not want to buy SIG , or Klotz

Guess I'm too provincial Randy - had tunnel vision on what I could get at a local speed shop and Klotz seemed to be what everyone mentioned for synth.
If there's a choice, what's better?
Terry
edit:
read the blurbs on Klotz products (duh!) and Original TechniPlate blends with methanol.

KL-100 is 80/20 Eighty percent synthetic and 20% castor. this blend will also mix with gasoline I've been told.
kL-200 is totally synthetic.
I've used these 2 for years with complete satisfaction.

We have a local Geaux-Kart shop that carries one of the useful types of Klotz, plus Klotz "Benol", their castor oil blend. I'd like to know what it has blended with it, if anybody knows or can find out. Yes, I have some.
FWIW, Tower Hobby has both KL100 and KL200...and Benol. The one that's for gas...you don't want. H^^ Steve
