I have two models with mounting holes drilled for a ST 60 and only one ST 60.
Other than buying another ST 60 , what motor choices do I have ?

Hi Bill,
The Lite Case Merco 49 or 61 is a drop in for the ST 60. You can purchase them on e-bay cheap and they work very well. They haven't been made in some time, so if ya buy one better know someone that will work on it or buy one in good shape.

Double Star .60bb and Double Star .60 Lite. I got one of each, used. I have flown the .60bb and it's a really nice runner. Starts easy, does a wonderful 4-2-4 break, works great with several cheap props (APC 12.5 x 6 and Thunder Tiger 12.5 x 5.5). Pete Ferguson has used the .60 Lite, and liked a 12-5 APC on it. Nice to at least have the option of using a cheap prop, IMO. ~> Steve

Hi Bill,
I didn't know that Randy has any to sell right now, anyway. ;D Possibly you could pick up one a used one from somebody, but still big bucks.
I am not aware of anything other than the old Merco and the Double Stars that will basically drop in. maybe Randy does?
