I used a couple of fp .10's for 1/2a combat (legal down here) and found they were super user friendly.
More power than my mates old slant plug fox .15 and guaranteed easy starts. I found they wouldn't "get up"on a 7x6 prop but with 7x4's they really go ballistic.
When starting they are sensitive to over priming. My technique was to fill the tank, choke until fuel reaches the spraybar, then pull it once only over tdc whilst still choking, connect the power and flip. 9 times out of 10 a first flip start.
Using 10/22 fuel i was getting around 5 mins from 1.75oz.
