Title: What is a Fox ranger head?
Post by: frank mccune on October 13, 2013, 09:33:32 AM
     Hi All:

Marvin Denny mentioned a Fox ranger head that was used on a Fox .35 engine.  What is a ranger head?

                                                                                                  Thanks,

                                                                                                   Frank

The Ranger head is the head used on the early Fox 35's.  Aside from a different chamber shape, they have the Ranger logo cast into them.  Later heads have more of a relief for the baffle and a wedge shape.

The Ranger head is the one in the middle.  The one on the left is earlier, the one on the right is later.

The Ranger logo is almost visible in this pic.
