Does the LA 25 interchange with any other engine as far as mounting lug footprint and crank length? Thanks.

The OS LA 25, FP 20 and 25S all have the same footprint, with slight variations in overall length. I'm pretty sure that the FP 25 would bolt right on, but I don't have any of those with which to check.

The problem with electric is that once you get the smoke generator and sound system installed, the plane is too heavy.

From OS literature, the FP 20/25 is 0.5mm longer from the drive washer to the front mounting hole than the LA 25. The overall length of the LA is 1mm more than the FP 20/25. Hole spacings are the same and bearer spacing is 1mm greater for the LA.

The Evo 36 has the same hole pattern and lug width but the crankshaft is about 1/2" longer.
