Webra .20/.28
« on: February 20, 2014, 12:45:53 PM »
Hi All,

I have an unmarked Webra .20 or .28.  I would like to find out which one it is.  Aaron, and I, have ran the .28 in the past but I do not know which engine this is.  I do not have an inside mic.

Thanks
Bill

Bill, a dial caliper will be sufficiently accurate. The bore of a .28 is .728" You could probably measure with a steel rule and be close enough since a .20 will be quite a bit smaller.

Thanks, Bill.  So the .28 is .003 larger than .725  which is basically 5/8ths" IIRC.  Sounds good.

Thanks, again!

No, .625" is 5/8"! So, .725" is 5/8" + .100". Just a bit over 23/32", actually.  ;D Steve

Mea culpa, Brother Steve, not sure of what I was thinking!  .725 is just shy of 3/4" (.750)!

Thanks!
