I just acquired an engine that is a Bratt brand, and .28 displacement. I remember reading on the other forum that Iskandar Taib use to use these for speed limit combat years ago because they were inexpensive and ran well.. They were put out by World Engines. Anybody else have any experience with these? It's looks like a nice little engine, ball bearing, nice carb casting quality looks decent. I'll probably get a verturi for it and see if it will run well in a wet two stroke and use it for a sport stunt engine.

These are actually the Bluebird engines made in Taiwan but were sold in America as Bratt (no idea why). The 21, 25,28 and 45 are all AAC while the 51 is ABC. I have a 28 and 51 (both new when I got them) but have only run them on the test stand. Their finish both inside and out is quite impressive, in fact the 51 reminds me very much of my Rossi 45 and actually out turned the Rossi one day on a back to back test.
