Fox angle plug head
« on: February 17, 2013, 10:30:09 AM »

Has anyone used an angle plug head on a Fox 35 and how did it work?
Did you like it or not and why?

Back about 15 years ago I used the Magic Blue head made by Tom Muggleston on several Fox .35's whit great success! His head was hemied and had the plug angled toward the back of the engine. This configuration in my opinion was far superior to the Fox Hemi Head. Stuffer back plate with ST NVA added greatly to the performance of the Foxes when used on profile planes. Up right, and inverted mounts ran just fine stock. For what its worth that's my personal experience any way!

Hi Brother Phil,

Not to hijack the thread, but do you block any of the bypass when you use a Fox .35 on a profile?

And to Brother Gil, I have used the angle plug head and I, too, feel it is better than the stock OR the Fox made Hemi Head.  I am very sure the one I used was from Randy Smith.
