Title: Thunder Tiger Spray Bars
Post by: Timothy Payne on January 30, 2013, 02:44:40 PM
Hi to everybody across the pond in America! I've been quite busy with my old rc trainer (mostly crashing and repairing it!).

Currently using those Taiwanese Thunder Tiger 25's (got 3 now!) from the 80's. These still prove to be decent motors even today, although on my latest aquisition I managed to shear off the spray bar, because I was wearing woolley gloves. Ping, I know amatuers!

The thread size for the spray bar is ANC no.3 (48 TPI). It's a yankie thread, and I was wondering if these are universal for all Thunder Tiger engines? I've won a bid on a Thunder Tiger 40, so I'm hoping it's gonna be a straight swap!

Anyone got any ideas?

Tim

Tim, are you talking stunt setups or the needle valve in the RC carb? There is a significant difference.
