I did the search, and still don't have the info I need. Is the square head actualay a rectangle shape? I have a couple of these engines and have read that the sq head is the one to have, so is this the sq head?
In advance THANKS...

OOps , Id think the SQUARE may be the ' H ' helicopter head , and the ROUND the Aero , which is Square - Rounded off . Obviously the Aero would be more conveiniant . Unless you had a square cowl .

Thanks Matt, the ones that I have have the head like the rear exhaust, so I am gonna say that is the sq head version, now who has some good suggestions for good stunt runs, using the hi-rpm low pitch run...

Some one told your wrong, they are confused there is NO round head Thunder Tiger 36, maybe they were thinking about a Magnum 36
The TT can be made to run very well I have done about 900 of them, many of them are flying ay most contest you see
Use true venturi with # 17 drill size, 1 or 2 head shims, NO MORE, a prop like a 11 x 4.5 Cyclone, Top Flight 11 x 4 , aPC 11 x 4/5 etc, 10 nitro 22 percent oil, mostly synthetic, and they will run either hi RPM 4/2 or wet 2

Randy,
Is the TT Pro 36 the same engine the Aerotiger is made from ?
If so,
do you still do them when you can get an engine ?

hI MIKE
AERO TIGERS were , to start made from magnum 36 engines that were made in Taiwan , then after they started to make Magnums in China, Since they have all been made from Thunder Tiger 36s, So you have the same motor, badge as Magnums and Thunder Tiger, Thunder Tiger made ALL Magnum engines up until the point that they moved them to China
I am working on getting another run of Aluminum Chromed sleeves, I have the other parts here, I will let you know how and when If I get them in

Ridiculous !!!!

You Can Have Mine , for That . ;D
THINGS seem to come in batches , over a few weeks , like on R C forum & ebay . Been a few on Ea a month back . And FSR 45 Royals a year back .
Comes a point when theyre all ' spoken for ' and the price jumps . From 20 Bucks . >:(
HELICOPTER ones as often in the TT 36 . cheapest worthwhile looked to be $ 60 plus .
A lot of ABN stuff is shot , tho if your relinering it , thatd be ok if thats all that was ?????????????????????? IF IT WAS DIRT CHEAP .
a certain 50 FS Heli in ' MINT ' condition appears to be BRASS exposed from A to B in the bore .
Caveat Emptor
as Julias Ceaser said . :-X
