I just acquired a McCoy .60. black case, silver cylinder and red head. It is missing the point timer assembly (if it ever had one) and has a Champion VG-2 glow plug in it.m It is VERY low time to maybe new and un-run. I loosened the engine up with a heat gun and some oil and got it to turn over and flip through nicely.
Does anyone have a computer file of the paper work and parts list for this engine? The curiosity I have is the key way that runs the length of the prop shaft, one of the washers has notches for the key, and the other washer is concave in shape. I need to know the proper way to assemble the front end if I decide to try and bench run the engine. I would like to also find any missing parts that I may need to make it complete. I'm assuming the original owner (I'm getting this engine third hand I think) may have discarded the points in favor of the glow plug, and maybe the engine will run fine this way? Any help and information will be greatly appreciated.

Hi Dan,
Woodys www.woodysengines.com has the timer assembly you need part number 1820B black without timer lever. The lever is hard to come by but you can find them, part number 2548. Most people didn't use the timer lever, just used a bolt to tighten the assembly to the case.
The washer that has a slot cut into hole is placed on the shaft in front of the bearing, then the spool. I've had a bunch of these over the years but sold most of them installed in teather cars.
