If I were to get into an ignition engine what would be a good stater motor and what am I about to get into?

Hi, Roger - first off, look into the OTS section of Stunt Hangar. There are already some interesting posts there.

What will you be getting into????  NOSTALGIC FUN!!!!

I have been flying spark for quite a few years and the only thing I do differently is to use rechargeable batteries and I modify the coil - structurally, not electrically.

In my opinion, the three best bets for reliable sparking are the OK Super .60, the Anderson Spitfire and the Super Cyclone.

I use regular gas and castor oil exclusively - never motor oil.

You can look into some back issues of Stunt News and read the article I wrote, basically for those interested in exploring spark ignition.

Bob Z.
