Hey guys, I recently attended an RC swap meet and came away (amoung other things) with a ST G51, RC though.

I had a mind to maaaybe use it for stunt. Is it just a case of add an approriate venturi, or where there other modifications to do to make it stuntable?

Do a good search on here, and you will find some good details. there is a difference between R/C and the C/L version in the sleeve timing. All else is the same. You can add the stock venturi just as it is. I'm sure you will find someone's set up for the R/C version. I know Tom Lay had customers that preferred the R/C timing, and maybe Randy Smith does also. Randy can fill you in on smaller details, but the short story is that there is a difference in the piston sleeve timing.

YEP .

Might pay to pull it down , and check / clean / polish the wrist pin, though . Being as wot the can get graubie .( Use tweezers for circlip - Maybe ina plastic bag or onna big white sheet . )

Timings a trifle higher , in the sleeve . As the usual injuns a 5 in pitch sucker ( or blower ) might be the R/C is a better ona 4 in. pitch .Been vaugely hopeing to find one to try it .

Intake sizes about whata ST ' V ' 51 - 56 - 60 , & Como 40 - 41 are . So a multi jet thing'll go in where the cinch bar is , or the Std. G-51 set up .
Tank hight must slightly affect vertical C.G.
and airflow behind the motor . perhaps .
