Super Tigre G51 Ring R/C
« on: November 13, 2014, 06:02:07 AM »
What is the performance difference between a Super Tigre G51 Ring R/C converted to control line stunt use (replace r/c carb with stunt venturi and nva) vs a Super Tigre G51 Ring control line version. I am aware of the differences in port timing between the 2 engines.

The lower cylinder timing of the CL version gives more torque at lower rpm, but also lower peak horsepower. Just what we want, generally. The CL version is happy with a 12.25 x 3.75 APC...or a 12 x 5 APC. The R/C bods would probably want a 10-8 or something, to make their ARF go faster? Maybe an 11 x 6, tho.  D>K Steve
