Title: Super Tigre G21/.46 Bearings
Post by: Peter in Fairfax, VA on March 13, 2019, 12:36:46 PM
So I have a G21/.46 with an RSM venturi.  Do I need to change out the bearings, or are the factory ones adequate?  I know the G21/.35 bearings are poor, and wonder if the .46 has the same issue.

thanks,

Peter

The factory bearings are fine on the entire G21 series, as long as they do not get rusty or are improperly lubricated. Don't replace them unless there is a problem. Same goes with all disassembly, only take it apart if required, otherwise, leave it alone.

If there is a problem, get the cheapest possible replacements from Boca (I think it is ENK-079).

If you are  going  to take  it apart  then  YES  replace the bearings, The front bearing  should have a  rubber seal on it.  I have  many bearing sets in stock , 46 included,  The stock factory bearings would be  near  over 40 years old by now,  so good idea  to do it
I also have  many parts for the  46 including  rings
If you need any parts  ar help let me know
