Antique Super Tigre?
« on: November 04, 2012, 10:04:08 AM »
Back in 1950 or so, I had a Super Tigre 29 that looked like a racing engine.  Front Intake, side Exhaust.  No fins on cyl. head.

I would like to find another one.  Is there someplace that shows or lists old/obsolete engines?  I've tried all the Google combinations I could think of.

Not a finless head either but I have a scan of a test done on a 1951 STG21/29.

The 1949 G-19 at .29 cid is the one.  Exhaust out both sides and the venturi is straight up.  But mine had a cylinder head with no fins.  Hard to believe that they are so valuable these days!  I don't remember what I did with mine, but who ever got it didn't pay much at all!
